Girl Talk Michigan Helpful Conference Information 

Towels, Pillow, Bed Linens and blankets are provided by Colombiere, and our hospitality room will have plenty

of snacks, coffee, tea, and water also. However, please feel free to bring whatever makes you most comfortable.

Refrigerator and microwave are available for your use.

SUGGESTED ITEMS you may wish to bring with you for the weekend:

• Mask(s)

• Bathrobe and/or slippers for the hallways

• Small folding table/tv tray for your room

• Alarm Clock

• Table top fan

• Extension cord

• Personal humidifier

• Extra clothes hanger

• Eye sleep mask and ear plugs

• Soda/Pop

• Money for souvenirs and/or raffle tickets for our "Action Auction" which benefits our scholarship fund.

MAP and/or DRIVING DIRECTIONS for 9075 Big Lake Rd, Clarkston, MI, 48346-1015:

Colombiere Conference Center is easily reached via I-75 North from Detroit or South from Flint to Dixie

Highway - Waterford (# 93) exit, then south on Dixie Highway approximately 1/4 mile to Big Lake Road.

Follow the signs to Colombiere Center (approximately 1/2 mile).

From Ann Arbor, take US 23 North to M-59 (Highland Rd. Exit 67). Go east (turn right) to Airport Rd north (left

turn) to Andersonville Rd (right turn) to Dixie Highway north (left turn) about 5 miles to Big Lake Road. Turn

Left on Big Lake Road. Follow the signs to Colombiere Center (approximately 1/2 mile).

Room Options

These are dormitory style accommodations with a sink only in the sleeping rooms. The restrooms and showers are located on the same floor, just down the hall from the bedrooms, meeting rooms, and activities. We do not share the bathrooms and showers with any other groups.
